BIJOU introduces ‘Mind Eraser’ with a powerful debut on FISHER’s label | A bold new sound and headline tour begin
BIJOU officially steps into a new phase of his career with the release of ‘Mind Eraser’, his debut single on FISHER’s Catch & Release imprint. Out August 22, the track not only introduces his refined approach to house music but also serves as the foundation for his first headline tour in two years, fittingly titled the Mind Eraser Tour.
The single is charged with high-energy beats and layered textures that capture BIJOU’s vision for his next chapter, offering fans a taste of a sound both rooted in house tradition and forward-looking in its execution. This isn’t just another release, it’s a relaunch that cements his identity as one of the most versatile producers in the scene.
Reflecting on the creative process, BIJOU shares: “Sometimes the best records come together at the last second. I produced the majority of this song in the lounge of the Charlotte airport a day before the session with Datti. I was on my way to LA for a show after playing in the Dominican Republic and needed something new for our session the next day. I had other tunes but knew this was the one she’d really love. Right away she loved it and we wrote the rest of the song over an hr and it was done. Road tested it the next weekend and we knew we had something special on our hands. Big ups to Fish and the team for believing in it, we’re stoked to have it out on Catch & Release!”
Alongside the single and tour, BIJOU is preparing more music for Catch & Release and unveiling a revamped visual aesthetic that underscores his creative growth. With stops planned across the U.S. and a forthcoming phase two announcement, the Mind Eraser Tour will showcase not only his new music but also his ability to captivate both underground dancefloors and large festival stages.
