SOFI TUKKER and Drowning Pool reimagine the iconic “Bodies” in a bold cross-genre anthem.

SOFI TUKKER push creative limits once again with their newest collaboration, this time venturing into metal territory with Drowning Pool. The re-imagined “Bodies Hit The Floor” is out now via Craft Recordings, bringing the energy of both acts into one powerhouse track.

The GRAMMY®-nominated duo, comprised of Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, have taken the intensity of Drowning Pool’s classic “Bodies” and infused it with their signature pulse-pounding dance rhythms. The result is a remix-meets-rebirth that’s already igniting crowds worldwide.

SOFI TUKKER shared, “This is one of the coolest collabs we’ve done. It is definitely the most unlikely… It’s so fun to see the primal excitement this song brings out in people. So grateful that Drowning Pool let us remake their iconic hit. Can’t wait to play it together.”

CJ Pierce of Drowning Pool commented, “It’s absolutely badass what SOFI TUKKER did with their re-imagining of ‘Bodies!’ I’m all about the buildups and those sick breakdowns…”

Fresh off appearances at Tomorrowland and Lollapalooza Berlin, SOFI TUKKER are preparing to bring their genre-fluid show to Newport Jazz Festival with a special set from their jazz-inspired album butter. Meanwhile, Drowning Pool continues their heavy-hitting run with headline shows across Europe and the UK.
