Allegra dives deep into the story behind her track “Wildfire,” shares insights on artistic control, the impact of collaboration, her evolving creative rhythm, and how staying grounded fuels her unique musical path.

“Wildfire” feels like a bold, emotional release. What inspired the energy and message behind this powerful track?
I was inspired by everything going on in the world. All the uncertainty and disconnect—and I just kept thinking, “What if love could spread like a wildfire?” It’s about energy, connection, and holding on to that spark that brings people together.

The music video for “Wildfire” is visually striking, full of intensity and movement. What story were you aiming to tell through the visuals, and how involved were you in shaping the concept?
This was my first time using AI as part of the creative process, and it was honestly such an eye-opening experience. I was super hands-on from the start—I knew I wanted the video to feel like a visual explosion of the song’s emotion. Using AI allowed us to push the boundaries of what we could do visually, creating this surreal, expressive world. I learnt so much during the process, and I’m really proud of how it turned out.

You also released a series of remixes for “Wildfire.” How did it feel to hear your song reimagined in different sonic directions? Do you enjoy letting other producers play with your sound?
Hearing other producers interpret your work is like seeing it in a totally new light. Each remix brought a different vibe while still keeping the heart of the song alive. I love that collaborative energy.

There’s a sense of confidence and power in your voice and lyrics. Where does that inner strength come from, and how do you channel it into your music?
I think that strength comes from the journey I’ve been on—personally and creatively. Music has always been my outlet, so even when I’ve felt uncertain or vulnerable, writing helps me find my voice again. Confidence, for me, is being honest and unapologetically yourself—and that’s what I try to pour into every track.

Your sound blends modern pop with dance and electronic influences. How would you personally describe your musical style, and which artists or genres have helped shape it?
I’d say my style is emotionally driven pop with an electronic heartbeat. It’s always evolving, but I’m drawn to music that makes you feel and move. I’ve been really inspired by artists like Tate McRae, Dua Lipa, and of course, the queens Beyoncé and ABBA—such different energies, but all about emotion, melody, and strength.

You’ve been in the spotlight from a young age, how do you maintain a healthy balance between your personal life and your music career?
It’s definitely a juggle! I’ve had to really learn how to set boundaries and protect my space. Over the last few years, I’ve actually been finishing uni, so balancing that with music has taught me how to manage my time and energy in a healthier way.

When I’m in the middle of a project, I go all in, but once it’s done, I make space to switch off, recharge, and just live life. I’ve realised how important it is to have those real-world experiences to draw from—it keeps the music honest. Having a good support system around me helps too.

Your visual aesthetic—from cover art to fashion—always feels intentional and stylish. How important are image and visual storytelling in your artistry?
Thank you. Visuals are such a big part of how I connect with my music. I see each song as its own little world, and the fashion, the artwork, and the video—they all help bring that world to life. I love experimenting with style; it’s another way to express who I am and what the music’s saying.

On social media, you often share candid and personal moments with your followers. Why is authenticity important to you, and how do you decide what to share with your fans?
Honestly, when I first started out, I was quite shy and a bit reserved. I didn’t always feel comfortable showing too much of myself—I was still figuring out who I was as an artist and a person. But as I’ve matured and gained confidence, I’ve really embraced the power of being authentic and open. That shift has let me enjoy sharing so much more—especially the behind-the-scenes side of what I do.

As your fanbase continues to grow, what’s something surprising you’ve learnt from connecting with your listeners around the world?
How universal emotions are. I get messages from people in completely different parts of the world who’ve connected with the same lyrics or feelings. It’s a beautiful reminder that no matter where we are or what we’re going through, music brings us together in the most magical way.

If you could go back in time and give one piece of advice to your younger self when you were just starting out, what would it be?
Don’t overthink it—trust your gut and keep going.

There’s a powerful wave of female voices taking over the pop scene today. What does it mean to you to be a woman creating music in this era?
I feel really proud to be part of this moment. There’s such a powerful shift happening right now with women leading with honesty, vulnerability, and strength, and it’s being celebrated in such a big way. I’ve grown up inspired by female artists, and now to be contributing my own voice to that space feels really special. What I love most is that it doesn’t feel competitive; it feels supportive. We’re all rooting for each other, and that kind of energy is so uplifting. It pushes me to be braver in my music.

You’ve had some incredible career moments so far — can you share a memory that really stands out as a personal “I made it” moment?
I think releasing Unsent Love Letters Vol. 1 and hearing people say the songs helped them through tough times really hit me. That’s when I thought, “Okay… maybe I am doing what I was meant to do.”

Your music often gives off a sense of freedom and release. How important is creative freedom in your process, and where do you feel most free to create?
Creative freedom is everything. I feel most free when I’m writing something personal with zero pressure to fit a mould.

What does a typical day in the life of Allegra look like—between studio sessions, social media, and personal time?
Honestly, no two days are the same—and that’s part of what keeps it exciting. Lately, I’ve been in my 6am girl era, so I usually start my mornings early with a Pilates class. If I’m heading to the studio, it’s usually a full day of writing, recording, and just vibing creatively with the team. Other days, I’m shooting content, editing, or planning releases—it’s a lot, but I love being hands-on.

I always try to find time in the day to reset, whether that’s a hot yoga class or cooking something nourishing. I’m really into wellness and self-care—face masks, early nights, and taking time off my phone. I’ve found that living a full life outside of music gives me so much more to write about when I am in the studio. It’s all about balance.

What’s next for Allegra? Is there a new project on the horizon, an EP, tour, or perhaps a sonic surprise?
Yes! There’s a brand-new EP on the way, and no, it’s not Unsent Love Letters Vol. 2. This one is something totally fresh. I just shot the music video for the lead single, and I’m genuinely buzzing for everyone to see what we’ve created. All will be revealed very soon!
