Jessica Winter’s debut album lands, blending retro dance-pop, raw emotion, and unapologetic style

Jessica Winter unveils her long-anticipated debut, My First Album, released via Lucky Number. The project presents a kaleidoscope of pop influences, from 2000s dance-floor anthems to heartfelt ballads. With five pre-release singles — “L.O.V.E.,” “All I Ever Really Wanted,” “Wannabe,” “Aftersun,” and “Big Star” — Jessica’s sonic journey is firmly underway.

Drawing inspiration from the glamour of ‘80s Madonna, the charisma of Prince, and flashes of punk and psychedelia, Jessica delivers a record that’s bold, eclectic, and unmistakably hers. Yet despite the glitter, this debut holds emotional depth. “All of those things were me as I was at that moment,” Jessica shares. “What I wanted to offer right now is this moment and in it, pure, clutter-free me.”

On the vision behind My First Album, she says: “In this era of disposable moments and ever rolling, broken news, I wanted to inject something whole into the ether…”

To mark the release, Jessica embarks on an in-store tour including Rough Trade East, Brighton, Leeds, and her hometown of Portsmouth.

This isn’t just a debut — it’s an intentional statement: personal, permanent, and pulsing with love.
