Clean Bandit teams with Lloyiso on “Believe”—a radiant blend of orchestral pop and soulful vocals
Clean Bandit returns with a vibrant new collaboration, joining forces with South African vocalist Lloyiso for their sunlit single “Believe.” Out now via Atlantic Records, the track offers a powerful fusion of orchestral pop and heartfelt emotion, anchored by Lloyiso’s soul-stirring voice.
Built around sweeping strings and emotive melodies, “Believe” channels themes of transformation, personal strength, and hope. Lloyiso’s lyrical sensitivity meets Clean Bandit’s refined production for a song that feels tailor-made for moments of reflection and celebration.
Grace from Clean Bandit reflects on the experience: “This is probably our most organic collaboration ever. We met Lloyiso in South Africa a few years ago after we performed in Johannesburg… Then LLOYISO walked in and just SANG, at the top of his lungs. It was so moving, I’ve never ever heard anything like it. In my life… We all went crazy when we heard [Jack’s chords] — making a song across continents felt so special, and the song was basically finished there and then.”
Lloyiso adds: “’Believe’ is about choosing yourself even when it’s hard, even when you’re unsure. This song is deeply personal, but I hope it resonates with anyone who’s had to fight to hold on to their light.”
The accompanying artwork by Rita Zimmermann strengthens the song’s emotional arc: “a declaration of faith — not in a religious sense, but in something deeper… a call to remember who we are. To believe — and to begin again.”
The collaboration debuted in acoustic form at the Isle of Wight Festival, just before Clean Bandit headlined the Big Top stage—continuing their new era, which began with “Cry Baby,” a 2024 hit featuring Anne-Marie and David Guetta.
