Will Smith continues his musical resurgence with the release of “Pretty Girls,” a vibrant summer single now available via SLANG Recordings. Produced by OmArr and Lexoskeleton, the song offers a fun, rhythmic escape just in time for the warm weather. Directed by Conor Cunningham, the accompanying video leans into carefree vibes, charm, and sunlit visuals.

The release follows Based on a True Story, Smith’s first album in 20 years. The 14-track LP includes guest features from longtime collaborator DJ Jazzy Jeff, Teyana Taylor, and Jac Ross. Its singles—“Beautiful Scars,” “TANTRUM,” “Work of Art,” and the gospel crossover “You Can Make It”—have helped position Smith back at the forefront of culture and conversation.

“You Can Make It,” featuring Fridayy and the Sunday Service Choir, recently reached #1 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay Chart. Smith performed the song at the 2024 BET Awards in a fire-lit performance that left an unforgettable impression.

This summer, Smith is taking his music worldwide with the Based on a True Story Summer Tour—his first-ever headlining run. The tour begins July 13 in Hamburg and spans Morocco, France, Spain, Italy, and the UK. Festival stops include Mawazine, POSITIV, Dreambeach, and BIG ART.

As “Pretty Girls” lights up playlists, Will Smith proves that reinvention and rhythm go hand-in-hand—even decades into a legendary career.
