Amy Wiles continues her impressive 2025 run with the release of her third single of the year, “Dream Away,” a captivating collaboration with iconic vocalist and songwriter Angel City. The track arrives as a summer-ready trance anthem, rich in euphoric textures and nostalgic vocal charm.
Best known for her work with Anjunabeats, Wiles kicked off the year with a sold-out show at London’s Phonox and a string of acclaimed singles including “Heard It All Before” and “Each Other.” Both previous releases earned her support on BBC Radio 1 and SiriusXM, with DJs like Danny Howard and Jaguar highlighting her sonic versatility.
“Dream Away” marks a return to uplifting trance for Wiles, featuring the dreamy vocals of Angel City — the voice behind several UK Top 10 hits in the early 2000s. Speaking about the collaboration, Wiles shares: “When Lara (Angel City) reached out and mentioned that she was relaunching her project and wanted to work on a track together, I instantly got excited… The fact that we have a collaboration now, 20+ years later, is wild to me and a real full-circle moment.”
Wiles notes that “Dream Away” is her first time working with multiple songwriters, and the result is a track that blends nostalgic trance with a pop-forward production. “It’s not like anything I’m currently hearing out there… It has a nostalgic feel while also bringing something fresh to the table.”
