Mimi Webb releases “Love Language” and announces her next album “Confessions”, out September 12.
British pop artist Mimi Webb continues to define her unique voice in today’s pop landscape with the release of her new single “Love Language.” Released via Epic Records, the track also comes with the announcement of her sophomore album Confessions, due out on September 12.
“Love Language” marks a new direction for Mimi, blending emotion with a fresh sonic aesthetic. About the track, she shared: “‘Love Language’ is my first step into this new era and I don’t think I’ve ever been more nervous or excited to share a piece of music. The sound and aesthetic around it is so new and different for me and I can’t wait to bring people along for this new creative journey.”
The song precedes the Bradley&Pablo-directed video, which premieres Tuesday, June 10, and is expected to visually capture the song’s bold energy and reinvention.
Mimi’s sophomore album Confessions is described as a raw, fearless journey through heartbreak, self-reflection, and empowerment. “I dug deep and figured out what I want to say not just as an artist, but as a person,” Mimi said. “I decided to be brutally honest. It’s easy to be like, ‘Everything is wonderful’—even when there’s so much happening behind the curtain. I wanted to open up and scream, ‘This is who I am!’.”
“Love Language” follows her recent collaboration “Mind Reader” with Meghan Trainor, which featured a vibrant video directed by Ava Rikki. The track continues to build anticipation for Confessions, giving fans a glimpse into the personal evolution driving this next phase.
After an impressive year of performances—ranging from a UK and European arena tour with the Jonas Brothers to major festival appearances—Mimi Webb shows no signs of slowing down.
