Miley Cyrus’ cinematic pop opera hits theaters June 12 (US) & June 27 (Intl) with 13 new songs from upcoming album.

Global pop icon Miley Cyrus is set to make waves in cinemas this summer with Something Beautiful, a genre-defying pop opera and visual film experience. Announced today by Trafalgar Releasing and Sony Music Vision, the film will screen for one night only on June 12 in North America and June 27 internationally.

The exclusive theatrical rollout comes just one week after its June 6 world premiere at the Tribeca Festival in New York City. Fans can sign up for more information ahead of tickets going on sale Thursday, May 22.

Featuring thirteen original tracks, Something Beautiful is more than just a visual album—it’s an immersive cinematic journey that merges music, storytelling, and high fashion. The film is produced by Miley Cyrus, XYZ Films, and visionary filmmaker Panos Cosmatos (Mandy), in collaboration with Sony Music Vision, Columbia Records, and Live Nation.

Directed by Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter, the film’s visuals are captured by celebrated cinematographer Benoît Debie. The soundtrack is exclusively mixed for theatergoers by Alan Meyerson, whose previous credits include Dune Part One and The Dark Knight.

“Something Beautiful is my dream project come true—fashion, film, and original music coexisting in harmony. My co-creators are all geniuses in their own right,” says Cyrus.

Coinciding with the film’s release, Cyrus’ ninth studio album Something Beautiful drops May 30 via Columbia Records, executive produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett.
