“Alive” by Damian Lazarus and Bloom Twins is a genre-blending, emotive release with remix by Nick Morgan.
Damian Lazarus returns with a mesmerizing new release, “Alive,” featuring the enigmatic Bloom Twins. Out now via Crosstown Rebels, the track builds on the mystical narrative of his fifth studio album Magickal, which debuted earlier this year with a surprise drop during the 2025 edition of Day Zero.
Crafted with the Bloom Twins—Ukrainian-born and London-based siblings known for their unique dark-pop aesthetic—“Alive” is an evocative blend of emotive songwriting and deep electronic textures. Legendary producer Mark Ralph, who contributed to Lazarus’ debut Smoke The Monster Out, provides additional production, linking the track to Lazarus’ earliest works while showcasing his continued evolution.
“Alive” captures the energy of rebirth, with sweeping melodies and haunting vocals creating an expansive sonic world. It’s a standout release that merges artistry and emotion with Lazarus’ signature attention to detail.
Also featured is a remix by Canadian producer Nick Morgan, returning to Crosstown Rebels after his acclaimed 2024 remix of AIRRICA’s “Hi Speed Lover.” His version reimagines “Alive” as a driving, late-night club odyssey that keeps the emotional core intact while shifting the track into deeper territory.
Known for his ability to fuse avant-garde production with storytelling, Lazarus once again delivers a multifaceted musical experience. “Alive” is a reminder of his enduring influence—and his gift for collaboration that pushes boundaries and creates timeless sonic moments.
