Kassidy drops a new version of “Will I Ever Love Again” featuring Loud and shares a behind-the-scenes video.
Pop newcomer Kassidy returns with a refreshed take on one of his most emotional tracks, “Will I Ever Love Again,” now featuring acclaimed Quebec rapper Loud. Released via Universal Music Canada, the track adds a new layer of storytelling and sonic depth to the original version featured on Kassidy’s debut EP Echoes of Myself – Volume 1.
Kassidy says the song was born from real heartbreak. “I wrote ‘Will I Ever Love Again’ after a major breakup,” he shares. “It talks about how in my relationship both of us weren’t perfect and there’s a question that asks, ‘Am I ready to love again or will I ever love the same way?’”
The collaboration began when Loud heard the original and immediately wanted to be part of the project. The creative partnership blossomed into a genuine friendship. “He’s a great, humble, down to earth human with big talent,” says Kassidy.
The duo’s chemistry is on display in the newly released music video directed by Andy Ziel. The visual offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their studio sessions and includes cameos from Banx & Ranx, the JUNO-winning and GRAMMY-nominated duo who’ve played a key role in shaping Kassidy’s sound.
Kassidy’s 2025 Winter Tour is currently underway, including sold-out shows with Jamie Fine and festival stops like SXSW. “Will I Ever Love Again” has already become a live fan favorite, and Kassidy’s recent dance-pop collab “Along The Way” with Thierry Von Der Warth has surpassed 2.5 million global streams. With more on the horizon, Kassidy is poised for a breakout year.
