Cian Ducrot shares “Little Dreaming” video and details sophomore album arriving July 11.
Fresh off a GRAMMY® win for co-writing SZA’s “Saturn,” Irish singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot is back with big news: his second album Little Dreaming arrives July 11 via Darkroom/Polydor/Capitol and is available now for pre-order in all major formats.
The announcement is paired with the release of the vibrant video for the album’s title track, “Little Dreaming.” Featuring acclaimed Irish actors Lola Petticrew and Hazel Doupe (Say Nothing) and Chris Walley (The Young Offenders), the video channels pure pop energy. Cian takes on the persona of Juno Lush, a flamboyant fictional star whose diva antics and glitter-covered dreams give way to bandmate friction—and a wink at the pop machine.
As Cian sings, “I can take it full Picasso, I don’t care who wore it first / If it’s drunk tank pink, if it’s his or it’s hers…” the message is clear: fashion, identity, and self-expression are fair game, as long as they’re worn with confidence.
The upcoming album is a dynamic step forward for the classically trained artist, blending ‘70s and ‘80s glam with his signature emotional honesty. Collaborators include Lostboy, Theo Hutchcraft, Tristan Salvati, Anton Göransson, Isabella Sjöstrand, and longtime partner Bill Maybury.
Cian has also announced an extensive EU/UK headlining tour. General tickets go on sale March 28 at 10am GMT, with pre-sale access for fans who pre-order the album. The news follows a major televised performance at the Ireland vs. France rugby match, where Cian sang both national anthems, reflecting his Irish-French heritage.
