Bo Staloch releases The Garden, a six-track alt-folk and Americana EP full of heartfelt storytelling and powerful melodies.
Bo Staloch continues his ascent in the folk and Americana world with the release of The Garden, his highly anticipated six-track EP. Featuring deeply personal songwriting and rich acoustic textures, the project solidifies his status as one of the most compelling new voices in the genre.
The title track, released today, serves as the EP’s emotional core. Written at his family home, it’s a reflection on love, legacy, and the support that shaped him. “My family has always been the most important part of my life,” Staloch shares. “I think a lot about my future kids and how I want to create the same kind of space for them to grow.” The song captures this sentiment with heartfelt lines like “When the sky falls down give the pieces to me / I’ll hold you like the moon ‘til you fall asleep.”
Produced by Andrew Wells (Phoebe Bridgers, Halsey), the EP was recorded in a Laurel Canyon-facing studio, adding an intimate, timeless quality to the songs. The final track, “Oh God, Were You Ever,” was produced by Joshua Block (Leon Bridges, Jamestown Revival), rounding out the project with a poignant close.
Currently on tour with Houndmouth and set to join Ashe in May, Staloch is quickly making a name for himself. With past sold-out shows in London and Dublin and critical praise from Atwood Magazine and The Luna Collective, 2025 is poised to be a breakout year.
The Garden is available now on all major streaming platforms.
