Husband-and-wife duo The War And Treaty release Plus One, a powerful collection of 18 tracks blending soul, gospel, and country.
Acclaimed duo The War And Treaty have released their highly anticipated album, Plus One, now available via Mercury Nashville. Featuring 18 tracks, the album builds on their signature country-soul fusion, bringing listeners a deeply moving collection of songs meant to uplift and inspire.
Among the album’s highlights is “Love Like Whiskey,” a heartfelt ballad co-written with Miranda Lambert, which is accompanied by a brand-new music video.

The duo, Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter, have spent the past few years solidifying their place in music history. Their previous album, Lover’s Game, earned GRAMMY nominations, and Plus One continues that momentum with production from Jonathan Singleton, John Shanks, and Jesse Frasure. Recorded at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the album blends gospel, country, blues, and symphonic pop to create an unparalleled listening experience.
The War And Treaty have been making the rounds in major media, with upcoming performances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (Feb. 17) and LIVE! with Kelly and Mark (Feb. 19). They recently performed with The Rolling Stones, Chris Stapleton, and Zach Bryan, further cementing their status as one of the most exciting acts in music today.
Next month, they embark on their Plus One Tour, covering 30+ cities, including stops at New York City’s Irving Plaza and The Troubadour in Los Angeles.
