With a huge year in 2020, Wuki continue to releases hot singles, this time he teams up with Smokepurpp on new single ‘Birdz‘ via HARD Recs
The new single ‘Birdz’ from Wuki and Smokepurpp features a boisterous production and cinematic trap beats, Smokepurpp commands the track with his raw, menacing, and rhythmic flow. Wuki lays the groundwork for ‘Birdz’ and perfectly compliments Smokepurpp’s cadence with edgy and textured production. Crafting the beats to have both swaggering and distorted notes, Wuki adds his bass-centric flare to the hard trap tune that instantly gives ‘Birdz’ an otherworldly and demented feel.Â
Wuki has collaborated with Juvenile, Yung Baby Tate, Stoppa, Diplo, Shaq, Skrillex, Slayyyter, among many others. Wuki’s music is also gaining recognition in major films, where his single ’Throw It’ was used in Netflix’s film Work It (starring Sabrina Carpenter & Jordan Fisher). With his latest singles such as ‘Hey Ladies’ with Yung Baby Tate and Stoppa and his single ‘I See You’ he is definitely one of the next artists to watch for 2021.
At only 18-years-old Smokepurpp gained global exposure for his tracks ‘Samsung Jumpin,’ ‘Ski Mask,’ and the mega hit ‘Audi,’ with the latter scoring over 200 million streams across platforms. International touring soon followed, as did a record deal with Alamo/Interscope Records in 2017.
Smokepurpp dropped his debut mixtape ‘Deadstar,’ which quickly gained critical acclaim, peaked at #42 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and featured tracks with artists such as Chief Keef, Juicy J and Travis Scott. 2019 saw Smokepurpp release his debut EP ‘Lost Planet’  followed by his debut album Deadstar 2 via Alamo/Interscope.Â
