Tyga and Doja Cat takes us on a ride in new single “Freaky Deaky” featured along with an official video via EMPIRE/RCA Records
Tyga is looking to add to his multiple accolades and certifications including eight-time platinum single “Taste” featuring Offset, the quadruple-platinum single “Rack City”, and double-platinum single “Ayo” featuring Chris Brown. With its upbeat energy and flirtatious lyrics, “Freaky Deaky” is set to be Tyga’s latest hit.
The music icon returns with a new wave of sound that perfectly blends their individual artistic styles, introducing an exciting new era of Tyga. It’s accompanied by a music video starring the duo.
Since breaking out into the scene in early 2008, Tyga has continued to expand his portfolio and cultural influence in nearly every facet of the mainstream media. His last album Legendary debuted in 2019 with a Gold certification on its debut week landing the Top 20 on the Top 200 charts. The platinum album accumulated over 5 billion streams in under a year. Legendary features his eight-time platinum single “Taste” featuring Offset and “Swish” which soared on the charts landing on the Billboard Hot 100 list.
Establishing himself as an international star, Tyga has collaborated with top Latin artists such as J Balvin, Jon Z, Reykon, Ozuna and El Alfa. The single “Loco Contigo” placed No.1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart. Tyga perennially holds a place in the Top 30 of the “Most Streamed Artists on Spotify.” His influence continues to grow with each subsequent album.
Doja Cat, having grown up in and around the LA area, developed a knack for music by studying piano and dance as a kid and listening to the likes of Busta Rhymes, Erykah Badu, Nicki Minaj, Drake, and more. Soon, she went from obsessing over Catwoman (the Halle Berry version) to crate digging on YouTube.
The budding talent taught herself Logic and how to compose on a midi controller. Signed to RCA in 2014, she released her Purrr! EP and followed that with her debut album Amala in spring 2018, but it was her August 2018 release of “Mooo!” which catapulted her into the mainstream and was met with critical acclaim.
