Rap music global star Tory Lanez is back with his new hot official music video for “And This Is Just the Intro“
Hot on heels with his latest album ‘PLAYBOY’, symbolizing the deep feelings he felt upon the creative process, emotions caused by a breakup that left him vulnerable.
Tory Lanez shares about the album, “Emotionally, I was able to flow creatively. Some of my best creations come out when I’m vulnerable,” he describes. “This is me being as honest as I can be on a record,” he shared, adding, “For the first time in a long time, I was writing R&B from a place of hurt and vulnerability, Unlike a lot of my other R&B which is based on the pure vibe and catchy melodies.”
His new album ‘PLAYBOY’ reached within a week of his album release he has 15+ million in total consumption and is #1 Album on Apple Music’s R&B/Soul, #4 Album All Genres on Apple Music, #6 Album US Debut Albums on Spotify (All Genres) and #9 Album Global Debut Albums on Spotify (All Genres).
By taking this approach, Tory became the highest streamed, independent artist to release full songs as NFT’s prior to the album’s release on other digital platforms. Lanez also just released an alkaline water “Umbrella Water” through Artesia Springs which went to relief efforts in Texas and Louisiana.
