Alicia Keys – If I Ain’t Got You
What is your best-producing tip?
At the start of my sound design journey, I was so excited and wanted to insert every sound i’ve designed into a single song. They ended up clipping massively and impossible to EQ. My guru in production then reminded me that a song is like a puzzle, in order to fit together, they must have space. Allow a sound to shine through by muting the others, and then alternate that so each sound has its own space!
Why did you start making music?
I wanted to release all these songs I have echo-ing in my head.
What are your goals for the future?
To keep releasing music for the next year, and hopefully have a song featured on TV. I want my song on Grey’s Anatomy!
What advice can you give for young music producers/DJs?
Always ask for help when you need it!
Please write a message to your fans.
Hello! Happy New Year! This year, I am aiming to release my songs in a consistent and systematic manner. I hope you like them. You can count on me to always do my research, ask for reviews to improve myself. I will keep showing up!
