Where are you from? South London
When did you start making music? I brought my first djing set at 13 but started to produce music about 8 years ago so 19ish.
How do you describe your music? Galactic – I try not to box myself in and tame my vibe. Emotions rule the music and I don’t want to be tied to one lane like most artists. I enjoy swapping genres here and there so that I can work with a variety of artists. My music is a predominately 126-128bmp dance structure.
Who is your biggest musical inspiration? Paolo Nitini
What is your producing software? Logic Pro X
What other things do you do besides making music? Race cars, ride motorbikes, build things. Self-confessed DIY man (but not very good at it). Doing rational things that no one else thinks about doing.
What is your best-producing tip?
Don’t box your thought process, trust your ears more than anything else. There are no rules when working on a mix – develop your own technique or learn from others and grow. Music is subjective – it’s your own opinion and you’ve got to do what sounds the best and back it with 100% confidence.
What is your favorite track of all time? Summer Breeze by the Isley Brothers
Why did you start making music? I didn’t have any intention to start making music. I didn’t realize that I had the ability to do it until I started. I always had a massive love for music but a soft spot for dance music. It amazes me that you can listen to a record and it gives you energy.
What are your upcoming gigs? We’re still planning my gigs for the rest of this year and for next. All details will be announced on my Instagram and Website so make sure you’re following to stay updated.
What are your goals for the future?
Multi-platinum over and over again
What advice can you give for the young music producers/DJs? If you have a passion for it, commit yourself to it. In music, you’re in or you’re out. You can’t dip your toes into music. You’re diving or you’re sitting on the beach.
Financial diversity:
I have faced huge financial diversity but refused to give up. I have a passion for making people grove (dance) and I never want to do things the way anyone else does.
I have had over 100 singers into the studio all from the local, such as Harry Simmonds, Tori Smith, Life-Like Charlie, Brogan Murphy, Daisy Brunskill and many more.
Please write a message to your fans: I appreciate the love and support for all my songs. I hope the records do as much for you as they do for me.
