French Rising R&B Star Shay Lia Reveals The Release Date and the artwork of her second EP “Solaris” that will be out on September 25th
Shay Lia New EP is a blend of R&B, pop, and Afrobeat, for this 5-track project Shay has tapped into her Djibouti roots, working with Haitian and Nigerian producers to step out of her comfort zone and into a space that is organic and free.
The announcement follows Shay Lia’s singles ‘All Up To You’ and ‘Love Me, Love Me Not’ released this Summer.
Shay Lia “Solaris” is her second EP; her debut EP Dangerous was released last year to critical acclaim and featured the likes of KAYTRANADA, Buddy, BADBADNOTGOOD, and Shaun Ross – a project which earned her a Polaris Prize nomination.
An Amazon Music 2020 One to Watch, Shay recently received love from Michelle Obama who included her 2019 single ‘Good Together’ in her #BlackGirlMagic Spotify playlist.
