Pop music rising star Ruti returns with a brand new stunning 4-track EP “All at Once” via The Orchard, Sony
The new EP “All at Once” arrives as Ruti’s first independent project, guided entirely by her innate creative compass and fuelled by the musings of her personal experiences.
Recently followed by single “My Sunrise” this February; a three-minute piece gliding Ruti’s ethereal vocals over the nonchalant beat provided by Wayne Wilkins, known for his work most notably with Beyoncé and Leona Lewis.
Ruti shares, “Each track on the EP has a season in mind. They sound like what I think each season sounds like. There are a couple of news tracks as well that I’m really excited for people to hear.
Daylight is the winter track, It’s a lot moodier than the other tracks. Personally I always struggle during the winter mentally so that’s what I wrote about in the song and I feel like minor chords make it feel a lot more serious. It’s actually the first sad song that I’ve ever released, but I like that it’s still quite upbeat.”
The EP offers two further tracks, “Daylight” and “When It Rains”, completing a carefully crafted project – a project that stands as another effortlessly cool reminder of this young artist’s huge potential.
Arriving two years after the release of her 2019 iTunes chart topping debut EP, Racing Cars, and three years after her similarly successful debut single, “Dreams”, Ruti returns with a fresh collection of reflective and intimate neo-soul flavoured jams. A self-described “seasonal person”, Ruti’s laid-back summer-infused new tracks glow with confidence, providing a rich soundscape for her leftfield melodies and soothing soprano.
