RIIZE opens 2025 on an inspired note, stepping confidently into their new era with the release of the vibrant music video for “Bag Bad Back,” the lead single from their highly anticipated debut album ODYSSEY, due May 19 via SM Entertainment/RCA Records.
With pulsing basslines and a steady drum groove, “Bag Bad Back” delivers a bold hip-hop sound paired with a catchy hook. A playful contrast of whisper and shout vocals creates a compelling texture, while the lyrics draw a metaphor between the members’ ambition and the bags they metaphorically carry—each packed with dreams, goals, and artistic purpose.
The choreography is a standout feature of the performance, with the team enlisting choreographers like SHOTARO, Bada Lee, J BLAZE, and THE BIPS. Movements mimic the act of holding tote bags, crossbody styles, and backpacks—giving the lyrics a literal stage presence. 
In a nod to their shared journey, the group incorporates a heartfelt reference: “RIIZE will continue to rise,” a quote from member Anton’s previous award acceptance speech, now featured in the lyrics. As the group states, “‘Bag Bad Back’ captures RIIZE’s charisma through its music, vocals, and performance.”
