23-year-old Boston native artist Radha returns with new emotional single ‘Drowning’
The late night track features soulful guitar, rhythmic trap drums, and captures the fear and passion experienced as you fall quickly and deeply in love.
Radha says: “I tend to keep up a strong exterior in the early stages of a relationship and find it difficult to present myself vulnerably in fear of the pain it may cause me,” “‘Drowning’ encompasses this headspace, along with the emotions of passion and euphoria experienced once I’ve let my guard down and opened myself up to experience the depths of love and infatuation. I hope this track resonates with listeners who encounter similar emotions as they fall in love.”
As an Indian American, Radha gained initial exposure within the realm of Indian Classical music before exploring the genre of R&B. She has received recognition from the likes of John Legend, Jason Derulo, and Willow Smith for her heart-felt and melodic approach to art. Using artists such as Jhene Aiko, Sade, and Norah Jones, Bryson Tiller, and Summer Walker as inspiration, she aims to express her emotions authentically and forge a deep connection with listeners using a dark and melodious trapsoul ambience.
Fans can expect more new music from Radha this year.
