Rising Pop Duo PRIZM Reveals Their Magnificent Debut Album “All Night” Via FiXT Neon
The album is loaded front to back with hook-heavy retro pop creations that pay tribute to the ‘80s and ‘90s while forging ground for a new decade. Danni and Kris cut loose on spirited party anthems, funky feel-good tracks, and heartfelt breakup tunes, delivering each one with polish and the group’s uncanny songwriting sensibilities.
PRIZM Says: “The sax has been a tasty bonus laid down by our hometown buddy Preston Lewis,” “He’s really talented and plays sax on several of the records. For this album, we drew influences from Whitney Houston, Ariana Grande, Chromeo, Britney Spears, Michae Jackson, The Midnight, and a lot more. We really brought inspiration from all over the board!”
Danni James and Krisluv – both full-time artists with experience working together in a variety of genres – combine classic songwriting touches with modern production and contemporary pop styles, creating a refreshing take on the retro ‘80s revival that captures the best of multiple eras.
The Rising Pop Duo released its debut EP in 2019 followed shortly by a single for “Neon Road.” The songs immediately caught the attention of the synthwave world, and their top-notch production, songwriting, and vocal performances put them on the map of the biggest names and promoters in the genre.
PRIZM soon signed with the well-respected independent synthwave/indie-pop label FiXT Neon and began work on their next album while their followers continued to grow around the strength of the early releases.
Since signing with FiXT Neon, the duo has been received a coveted spot on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Playlist, and also landing a placement for their single “All Night” in Paris Hilton’s recent birthday video. The duo now boasts over 30,000 Spotify monthly listeners, an increase of more than 30x since their signing.
