Pabllo Vittar joins NMIXX for ‘MEXE’ | A K-pop and baile funk fusion with dazzling visuals and bold choreography
Global pop icon Pabllo Vittar has teamed up with K-pop sensations NMIXX for the powerful new single ‘MEXE’, marking a bold step into the world of K-pop for the Brazilian superstar. The track, infused with baile funk energy and futuristic pop elements, arrives alongside a sleek music video directed by Jaewon Ham. Filmed in South Korea, the video showcases Vittar and NMIXX in an industrial car garage, delivering sharp choreography and commanding stage presence against cinematic backdrops.
‘MEXE’ is Vittar’s second release of 2025, following her Spanish-language collaboration ‘Fantasía’ with Grammy-winning Argentine artist Nathy Peluso. Together, these songs highlight Vittar’s commitment to embracing international genres as she prepares for her upcoming album PV7, set to arrive in 2026.
Speaking about her excitement, Vittar shares:
“I really like the girls’ sound and Korean sounds in general. They have innovative and even experimental rhythms. I discovered K-pop in 2015 and have always been a huge fan and follow it closely, so I couldn’t be happier! It’s an accomplishment to record with artists I like and experiment with new sounds in my musical production.”
The partnership has been equally special for NMIXX. Member Lily said, “When I first heard the song, I realized it was the perfect combination of NMIXX’s sound and Pabllo’s. She came to Korea to participate in the recording and the music video, and it was wonderful to spend time with her during that time.”
The single reflects Vittar’s growing global influence while cementing NMIXX’s reputation as versatile performers. With its infectious rhythm and striking visuals, ‘MEXE’ is more than just a collaboration—it’s a cultural exchange that celebrates creativity without boundaries.
