Los Angeles rising star NERIAH releases her brand new amazing single “Unfinished Business

NERIAH releases her slow-burning power ballad “Unfinished Business,” co-written by NERIAH, Jason Parris, and Alex Nobile. NERIAH’s latest track continues to solidify her stance as a romantic that wants better, as she probes her way through the turmoil that comes with asking, what could have become of a love abandoned?

Of the track, NERIAH describes that it is “...always a shocking experience to feel like you know someone so intimately, but then once you part ways you fall right back into being strangers again. Unfortunately, we don’t always get the closure we need during a breakup. Sometimes the previous chapter of the shared parts of your lives are not quite closed. Maybe you’ll almost make it to the anniversary of a relationship, or maybe it will end abruptly and earlier than expected, leaving you with a lot of unfinished business”, says NERIAH.

Taking a step back from the self-flagellation of “Breakup Sex” in favor of gentler recollection and subdued bravado, NERIAH’s songwriting ability sharpens with each track. Coming off of the release of her debut EP, This is How The World Made Me, NERIAH is channeling her natural-born need for storytelling by continuing to vulnerably share her innermost thoughts through song.

Prior singles such as “Missing Somebody” premiered on Zane Lowe’s World Record show in June and have helped her grace the cover of Spotify’s Fresh Finds Pop Playlist. Born and raised between Los Angeles and Malibu, NERIAH is no newcomer to the local live music scene, previously headlining Peppermint Club, Badot, Madame Siam, and the Troubadour for a sold-out show on July 15th.
