Singaporean Music Star Nathan Hartono Releases The Official Music Video Of His Latest Single ‘Dig Deep‘
An exploration of vulnerability and based on Nathan’s own personal journey, “Dig Deep” is a mid-tempo power ballad that features Nathan’s soulful vocal chops and sees him honing his songwriting craft as he further develops his artistry. The accompanying music video is also directed by Nathan himself and filmed by Singaporean cinematographer Benjamin Ong. With lighting imagery that plays with the concept of duality, the music video artfully encapsulates the nuanced inner struggle that comes with trying to open up and be vulnerable.
“’Dig Deep’ is a song about exploring one’s vulnerability. It’s never easy and is oftentimes a confronting process. The video to this song is a representation of that idea. Of someone trying to face themselves and making an honest effort to dig deeper into their heart.”
To promote the release of “Dig Deep,” Nathan has committed to donate one meal to the shelter animals at Animal Lovers League Official for every single pre-save/pre-add during the teaser campaign period, prior to the single release on August 21, 2020. With the great support from his fans, Nathan is officially donating 1200 meals to the animal shelter.
“Dig Deep” marks the first of a series of upcoming English releases in store for Nathan. He has recently helmed this year’s National Day theme song, “Everything I Am,” with a stellar live performance at the National Day Parade on August 9, 2020. His debut Mandarin EP, with all brand new tracks, is also slated for release in mid-September 2020.
