Nat & Alex Wolff explore heartbreak and humor on their new track “If You Never Left Me”—out now.
Nat & Alex Wolff unveil their latest single “If You Never Left Me,” out now via Coup D’Etat Recordings and Broke Records, showcasing their signature mix of introspection, genre-bending artistry, and melodic depth.
The track channels a ’90s rom-com vibe while also leaning into contemporary indie rock tones. Written about a past relationship, “If You Never Left Me” fuses sadness, nostalgia, and ironic clarity in a way that feels both fresh and timeless.
“We wrote it in the house of the person it was about,” the brothers shared. “It took years to revisit it, but Alex had a moment of clarity on a plane ride back from Europe and rewrote the lyrics. That rewrite changed everything. It went from being self-pitying to being self-aware—even funny in places. That’s when it came to life.”
This release comes on the heels of “Soft Kissing Hour” and its official video, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Gia Coppola. The visual debuted at a private event hosted by the Wolff brothers last month.
Following a massive 2024—which included opening for Billie Eilish on her HIT ME HARD AND SOFT tour—Nat & Alex continue their momentum into 2025 with a refined creative vision and a growing catalog of fan favorites.
Stay tuned for more new music from the duo later this year, as they continue to blend ’70s rock aesthetics with modern indie sensibilities.
