Musician and rapper Myke Towers Unveils New Single “Almas Gemelas”, firstly introduced at the 2021 Premios Juventud Awards
In Towers’ latest track, he proves once again why he has quickly become one of the leading forces within the Latin music industry through his expert utilization of lyrical prose perfectly blended with smooth and hypnotic beats. The song brings to life a relationship between two lovers who find that they are each one another’s equal in every way possible — so much so that the lines between the two become so blurred due to their “twin souls.” The video, which was filmed in Los Angeles and was directed by Brad Furman who has worked on films like “The Lincoln Lawyer” with Matthew McConaughey and “Runner Runner” with Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck and produced by London Alley.
Adding to his success, his album “Lyke Mike” was included on both Complex and Billboard’s “Best Album of 2021” lists. Not only was the album well-received critically, but it also garnered much global fanfare as well due to his ability to honor his trap roots while also creating something that was singular and relevant.
Throughout his career Towers has joined forces with some of the music industry’s hottest acts like Bad Bunny, Wisin, Cardi B, Farruko, Maluma, Piso 21, Sech, Yandel, Anitta, Selena Gomez, Becky G, Amenazzy, Arcangel, Miky Woodz, Ñengo Flow, Jon Z, and Sahir (that latter four having joined him on “Lyke Mike”), to name a few.
The Puerto Rican hitmaking rapper and musician teamed up with Dominican Urban artists Amenazzy and Rochy RD as well as legendary Reggaeton pioneer Farruko for the hit song “Rapido.” Myke Towers is currently working on more music expected for release later this year.
