Kitchen disco queen Sophie Ellis-Bextor will take to the iconic entertainment halls of Butlins Bognor Regis for the long-awaited return of the Mighty Hoopla Weekender. Leading a fever-dream line up of pop titans, the chart-topper is set to play a discography extravaganza that includes Get Over You, Take Me Home and Victoria Beckham’s most hated song, Groovejet – obv.
With holidays currently red-listed, guests to the Mighty Hoopla Weekender will at least be able to board Venga Airways for a set of euro-mania from The Vengaboys and take a trip to Ireland with the inventors of double denim, B*Witched.
Thankfully with no passport required, gemini queen Nadine Coyle will also join the line up with a stash of solo hits and a back catalogue full of the greatest girl group songs ever recorded whilst Samantha Mumba will mic up for the ultimate nostalgia trip.
With a full weekend of fun, the jam-packed line up also includes Liberty X, Snap! Ultra Nate, Livin’ Joy, Artful Dodger, Vula and Charlotte Church’s Late Night Pop Dungeon.
Much more than a pop show, Sink The Pink, Guilty Pleasures, Savage Disco, The Grand and more will join themed pool parties at the Butlins Splash Waterworld, a Big Hoopla Quiz, bingo, comedy and cabaret from the likes of Jayde Adams, Diane Chorley and The Cocoa Butter Club, Eurovision disco, power-ballad brunches, ten-pin bowling and day-glo arcade mania all set to a Hoopla soundtrack and much more throughout the holiday.
