Where are you from?
Originally I’m from Pocatello, Idaho, but I moved to Iowa when I was 2.
When did you start making music?
I started making music back in 2014, and 2016 I started taking it seriously! Music has always been a passion of mine. Music is universal, music is one thing that speaks to people’s hearts and soul.
How do you describe your music?
My music is heavily AfroPop/AfroBeat themed, when you hear it, it’s uptempo, makes you want to dance, or just vibe with it, also you got a balance, you got your songs that are “turn up” summer records, then you got the sad, heartbreak records that come in as well, it’s all a balance, what you allow in you’re life is what you’ll write story about, and then into a song. Be mindful, but you know… have fun!
Favorite moment from your career?
My first show in Minneapolis was a night I’ll never forget. The energy, and the reception from everyone is a feeling I can’t describe. Once you get in the groove it just comes natural.
Who is your biggest musical inspiration?
Easy, Chris Brown. His level of energy, artistry, determination, consistency is unmatched. His music helped me through some of the hardest times in my life. He inspires me. Say what you want you want about him, but you can’t deny talent when you see it. Give that man his flowers before it’s too late. Also I can’t forget my roots. I love African music I wouldn’t be making the music I make today. Koffi Olomide, Fally Ipupa, Davido, Burna Boy, and few others also inspire me musically
What is your producing software?
My go to softwares right now are, Logic Pro X, MixCraft 8, and Fl Studios
What other things do you do besides making music?
Besides music, I’m really big on fitness and working out, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
What is your favorite track of all time?
Hard, very hard… Favorite song would have to be Deuces by Chris Brown. It’s one of those songs you can still turn on to this day and play it straight through.
What is your best-producing tip?
Always, always stay up to date with what’s current with music in terms of mixing and mastering. Approach ever song with a new mindset, maybe no presets even
Why did you start making music?
I love music. Music is one thing that speaks to the soul, has no ill intent. If I can make music that speaks to the soul, and music that people can jam and relate too that’s good enough for me. Music is an outlet for me to express myself!
What are your goals for the future?
My goal for the future, is continue to release more music, and continue to do better!
What advice can you give for young music producers/DJs?
Trust what you’re doing, always do it from the heart, **** public opinion!
