London Pop Music Star Mae Muller Releases Her Brand New Single ‘So Annoying’ along Music VIdeo
The New Single Written by Mae, Rick Nowels, ‘So Annoying’ sees Mae explain her disdain for pining for her love, exhibiting her stripped back vocals layered over the melodic sounds of the guitar. Directed by Sophie Muller, the video takes us on a journey of the distractions that occur when preoccupied with missing someone.
Mae Speaks About ‘So Annoying‘, “So Annoying is a song about falling in love without wanting to. Usually people like the idea of falling in love, but to me it’s just scary and slightly inconvenient! When you love somebody you’re almost handing over that power; if you left, it would affect me! So to me, that always seemed daunting. I also wanted to write about the push and pull you sometimes can experience when you’re in love. Even though we fight and you aggravate the hell out of me, we will always run back to each other. How annoying!!!”
Featuring her friends and family including a special cameo from her younger sibling, taking on the role of the annoying younger brother, the video is a personal tale of Mae’s struggles with love.
Following on from her hit ‘I Don’t Want Your Money’, Mae is well and truly on her way to the top. With singles featuring on Spotify’s New Music Friday and becoming their RADAR: First Listen Artist, along with Apple Music’s A-List Pop, In My Room & Future Hits, Mae’s tracks have amassed 100 million streams globally.
She’s stormed her way through the live world with a sold-out 2020 headline tour (including London’s Heaven) and a support tour with Little Mix already under her belt and has garnered a social following of over 200 thousand dedicated fans in her short two years on the scene.
