Rising pop music sensation Lexi Jayde is back with her brand new stunning single “Newbury Park”
In her new single “Newbury Park”, the pop rising star features a harrowing, emotional indie-pop anthem about her personal experience in a one-sided relationship. The track follows the success of her 2020 debuts “If I Really Love You” and “Oldest Teenager.”
Lexi shares, “I wrote ‘Newbury Park’ after devoting so much time driving in rush-hour traffic, getting all dressed up, paying for gas, to see some guy in LA who didn’t show any support back,” Lexi says on the new single. “It was tough. I had moments where I couldn’t look at my bed or listen to certain songs because they just reminded me of that experience. I think it’s so important to feel mutual chemistry in any relationship.”
Lexi Jayde has collaborated with A-list producers and writers such as Jenna Andrews, M-Phazes, Sam de Jong, Captain Cuts, Keith Varon, Midi Jones, Jon Bellion, King Henry, and Jorgen Odegard.
As an independent artist, Lexi’s releases appeared on Spotify’s Indie Pop, idk, Indie Pop & Chill, and Lorem playlists, and was championed by Zane Lowe as “a fresh Kacey Musgraves.” Most recently, the 17-year-old is coming off a feature on the track “On Repeat” with Goody Grace & Cigarettes After Sex. Fans can expect more new music from Lexi Jayde this spring.
