KOKO Releases a Brand New Single ‘All Together Now’ via Made Records.
With a thumping beat that’s so laid back the whole track almost struts with a feeling of arrogance, the message of keeping things together comes laced with a sense of positivity. A well needed “you’ve got this” for everyone. “The track’s about keeping it together no matter what life throws at you.
Everyone has that thing they do to get by – whether it’s screaming into a pillow, going to the gym, punching stuff. That thing that keeps you sane,” says Ashley C.
After the release of their debut EP ‘Follow’ in March, the band is gearing up for strike number two. The next months will see a string of singles, eventually flowing into their second EP due October.
Ollie, Harry D and Ashley C met at a party in Bristol in 2017. Ollie, who had grown up in Thailand, was on the path to becoming a professional bare-knuckle boxer. Harry D had picked up a skateboarding sponsorship before an injury cut his extreme sports career short. Ashley C was forced to take a different approach in his teens, locking himself away for months on end whilst battling severe anxiety.
All members had dabbled with music previously but came together that night over a mutual love of fusing genres. After realising that they were all on the same page, the trio set about jamming together, and the resulting sound is what you hear today.
