American rapper and one of the biggest stars of hip-hop Kodak Black returns with new chart-topping album ‘Back For Everything’
Currently at #6 on Billboard’s “Hot 100” after having already ascending to #1 on Billboard’s “Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs” chart, “Super Gremlin” also sits at #1 on both the Rhythmic and the R&B/Hip Hop radio airplay charts.
The track is joined by an official music video now with over 100 million views HERE. A prolific start to the year also includes recent features on such tracks as Gunna’s “How Did You Do That,” Roddy Ricch’s “Hibachi (Ft. Kodak Black and 21 Savage),” and Rod Wave’s “Get Ready.” The 19-track project also includes the TikTok favorite, “Love & War,”.
Kodak’s presence in music is well established. His most recent releases include 2021’s HAPPY BIRTHDAY KODAK and HAITIAN BOY KODAK, 2020’s BILL ISRAEL, and 2018’s RIAA platinum certified album, DYING TO LIVE. The latter project includes the now 6x RIAA platinum certified “ZEZE“ featuring Travis Scott and Offset, now boasting over 1 billion global streams, as well as the 2x platinum-certified “Calling My Spirit,” joined by an official companion video now with over 128 million views on YouTube HERE.
DYING TO LIVE marked Kodak Black’s first full length release following his 2018 debut R&B album, HEARTBREAK KODAK, highlighting a different side of Kodak, exploring his vocal ability and new melodies to create his own R&B sound.
To kick off 2018, Kodak Black released the official video to his 3x platinum hit track, ”Roll In Peace,” featuring XXXTentacion, now with over 115 million views. In addition to releasing his own tracks, Kodak was seen on 2018’s 3x platinum smash hit, ”Wake Up In The Sky“ with Gucci Mane and Bruno Mars.
The track, along with its companion video now amassing over 454 million views, marks the first collaboration between the three labelmates. 2017 saw Kodak put out several impressive releases, including his now platinum certified album “Painting Pictures,” the 3x platinum smash single “Tunnel Vision,” the 2x platinum “No Flockin,” and his gold-certified collaboration with PnB Rock, “Too Many Years.” Kodak Black was named on both Rolling Stone’s and Complex’s “Best of 2017” lists, as well as Billboard’s “21 Under 21“ list.
