Hot on the heels of her latest release “Bad Boy”, Kitty Montague Is Back With New Single “Always On My Mind“
Kitty Montague gives us an additional dose of R&B on her new track. “Always On My Mind” is another example of her ability for candid storytelling, complemented by her light and melodic vocal cadences.
The new single ‘Always On My Mind’ is following on from her previous single “Bad Boy”, which saw the singer shrug off toxic relationships; “Always On My Mind” turns instead to focus on the comfort blanket of relationships.
With immersive soundscapes and an intoxicating aura; the song uses a soft soulful production, with gentle melodic patterns, to exude an honest and raw emotion that captures the listener’s attention from the first note. 
Showcasing her talent for poetic lyricism, the track sees the singer-songwriter introspectively analysing her own mistakes and behaviour, debating the confusing temptation to go back to a past relationship; Kitty explains“This song is an inward conversation about an on-off relationship that I consistently went back to whenever I felt lonely. It’s a very real narration of the confusion I felt trying to identify my own feelings, whilst at the expense of someone else”.

Her honest and provocative writing poetically exposes an empathetic understanding of the human condition – universally relatable situations, emotions and complexities, especially those regarding feminism. Her arresting talent has led her to recent accomplishments such as supporting Gabrielle Aplin for Banquet Records, as well as performing with Sofar Sounds and Secret Sessions.
