Written in March 2020, Frenchie is Jodi’s dirty, sweaty, club trance announcement to end off the year. 
About her new single Jodi says, “Essentially, it’s about being with someone you’re in total lust with. It’s naughty and sexy and steamy, the song takes place in a bedroom,” Jodi explains. The track is delicately arranged, with opposing aspects of soft, sweet, and then angry, rough, encompassing that primal idea of lust effectively throughout.
With satisfying drops and chaotic choruses, Jodi’s lyrics “Thought I was clear when I said GO” almost commands the listener in succumbing to entering into Frenchie’s warped fantasyland. Co-produced by Oscar Sharah, Mel Blue, who infuses the group’s effortless tropical dance production into this dark electro-pop love song.”
