LA Pop-trap singer and songwriter Jake Miller Returns With Single “I Forgot About You” Anticipating New Album and Tour
Jake shares, “My new single ‘I Forgot About You’ was so much fun to make. I’ve always wanted to incorporate pop punk into my music, with real electric guitars and real drums. I grew up listening to bands like The Almost, The Starting Line, Blink 182, and Boys Like Girls. I think this song is the perfect mixture of my classic pop sound with a bunch of the bands I grew up on.”
The new single “I Forgot About You”, arrives as Miller is gearing up to embark on his 33-date “hi, i missed you” fall North American headline tour kicking off next week alongside special guests Fly By Midnight, Just Seconds Apart, and Band of Silver. Tickets and VIP meet-and-greet packages for the nationwide trek — including stops in major cities like New York City (Le Poisson Rouge, 9/30), Toronto (Radio, 10/9), Chicago (Bottom Lounge, 10/15), and Los Angeles (The Roxy Theatre, 10/31).
Since 2020, Miller has released a slew of singles all featured on his latest 21-song album Silver Lining II, the follow up to his 2018 Silver Lining LP, that includes the fiery “SAVED ME,” bouncy follow up “BLAME IT ON YOU,” the Friends-inspired love song “ROSS AND RACHEL,” EDM bangers “RESET” and “ADDERALL,” upbeat collab “JUMPIN” with MILES, stripped back pop anthem “SIMPLE LIFE,” and trippy, catchy track “CRYSTAL BALL,” all of which showcase Miller’s redefined “pop trap”
