Grace Potter shares “Oasis,” a moody and cinematic track from her upcoming album Medicine out May 30.

Grace Potter returns with “Oasis,” the third preview from her forthcoming album Medicine, set for release on May 30 via Hollywood Records. Produced by Grammy-winning legend T Bone Burnett, the single is now streaming on all major platforms.

A captivating slow-burn, “Oasis” unfolds with atmospheric textures and cinematic layers, with Potter’s voice gliding across a soundscape that feels both intimate and expansive. The song is a reimagined version of a track previously known to fans, offering a glimpse into the refined and bold direction of her long-shelved Burnett-produced album.

“I wrote Oasis with the brilliant Mark Batson, so while people might recognize the song from the eponymous album, the approach I took on it with T Bone is about as far afield as a song arrangement could ever be,” shares Potter. “I love both versions because the song is just so moody and flexible. This is definitely one of my favorite reimaginings on the album.”

Medicine marks a unique moment in Potter’s career—a record initially recorded in 2008 following her band Grace Potter and the Nocturnals’ album This Is Somewhere. At the time, Burnett had just completed work on Raising Sand with Robert Plant and Alison Krauss and was drawn to Potter after seeing a clip of her singing “Nothing but the Water” a cappella. Though the album was shelved for over a decade, it’s finally seeing the light in 2025.
