The new single was produced by Armando Ávila, the track was born in the middle of the pandemic when many couples began to separate, according to statistics, as a result of the confinement, stress, economic hardships, and depression. It was possible that many of these couples separated even while being in love due to misunderstandings at the heat of the moment.
The song inspires them to realize and acknowledge their mistakes, and to have the courage to ask for forgiveness. That is what this song is about, “there are times when we must lower our pride because it is useless and will not make us happy. We must go with dignity and respect to ask for forgiveness,” explained Trevi, who mentions that this is the first song where she presents herself as the person who’s wronged and must apologize.
“I hope that this song can help people reconcile and put together the broken pieces that were a result of this pandemic. From now on, I hope that it becomes a song that helps someone ask for forgiveness even when it’s hard to put into words,” she added.
The music video was filmed in Miami, FL and was directed by Pablo Croce. The video also includes her appearing in different dreamy-esque outfits where she tries each one on and chooses the perfect one to visit her significant other. Throughout the video, the different encounters that exist in Trevi’s mind are observed, imagining how he will react, however, in the end the most important thing is to go with dignity and honesty; at the end, nothing is rehearsed.
On the other hand, Trevi continues to add to her success with her previous single “Nos Volvimos Locos” with Guaynaa, a song that already has 10 million combined streams and is part of a global campaign by Zumba® and its ZIN® community, who are streaming the successful track in Zumba classes in 186 countries.
