Rising alt-pop project GENE returns with a brand new single ‘Sick‘ featured along with a stripped live session video
The new single “Sick” from the rising alt-pop project GENE, is influenced sonically by 90s alt greats like Nirvana, No Doubt, and The Cardigans.
The project is featuring front-woman Claudia Mills from London. GENE has released 2 songs this year including debut single ‘Stole Your Car’ that was followed by a music video directed by Brent Campanelli and latest single ‘Sick’ that came out August 6th via OneRPM.
“Sick” is a dark love song about being obsessed with someone after a breakup/heartbreak. The new single is already available for streaming on the music platforms such as Spotify, Apple, and YouTube.
The song was recorded a live/stripped session for the song that’ll premiere on VEVO on the 12th and plan to release another single after that before putting together an EP.
