Rising Pop Singer FAANGS Releases today a brand new single ‘HUH‘ from her forthcoming debut project ‘TEETH OUT‘
The new track introduces listeners to FAANGS’ savage take on pop music, while the Y2K inspired video sees her unleashed to the camera for the first time.
FAANGS says about her new single: “The FAANGS vibe is so big, so much to swallow at one time, that I needed something that kicked in the door. That song is just me genuinely out here, trying to be myself. It’s a light on how the world is about to be in for a lot of personality.”
At just age 12, the idea of singing professionally went from dream to reality into hard life lessons learned throughout her teen years that also included a few years in the brutal acting circuit. When she looks back on her teenage years, she concentrates on the lessons learned from working 18 hours a day, 6 days a week. “It gave me the hunger,” she says, “but I was so naïve about putting my soul on the line and letting people take advantage of me. You can lose sense of what real life is, and you see that not everyone has the best intentions. But I lived so much life in such a short amount of time, and now I have so much to talk about.”
The road to TEETH OUT has been long, but the journey has been rewarding and she continues to put in long hours perfecting her writing, preparing her first project and even finding time to lend a co-writing hand on Ashnikko’s “Cry” featuring Grimes, and an appear along-side Felix Jaehn and Gashi on “SICKO”.
FAANGS sound, inspired by trap and rock, is a strikingly futuristic take on pop music that embodies and embraces conflict and contradiction.
“The project is maybe a bit dark, but it hits so hard and the beat makes you move – it’s full of rage, but you can also bop to it in a car. Maybe that’s just me…full of rage but always wanting to bop,” she concludes.
