Eva Shaw Links Up With Kofi and Ching on a brand new hip-hop single ‘Static‘ via Mad Fatti
The new track ‘Static‘ features an eclectic mix of sounds, Static sways into focus through an upbeat melody laced with laid-back hip hop beats. Toronto born Eva Shaw is internationally recognized as an innovative music multi-talent; music producer, topline writer, fashion collaborator, owner of hip hop label Mad Fatti Ent., DJ, radio host- the world of Eva Shaw is always evolving. Eva Shaw shares about the new single, “I have this drive to do something different with my beats and lately I’ve had this obsession with music switchups and beat changes part way through records. Maybe it has something to do with how much I love mashing ideas, genres and styles together. Maybe it comes from my DJ mind. The track starts off with chill, feel good vibes with Kofi on vocals. Ching has this hard intensity in his vocal so I wanted a faster beat on his part. It feels like it should be in a car racing movie or something.“

After being featured on fellow Toronto rapperLB SPIFFY’s track I Love My Gang, he dropped his own single Blindside shortly after, which has over 1.5 million streams to date. TheyCallMeChing has been consistently dropping tracks ever since, rapping about staying focused on his goals while hoping to repay his mother back for all that she has done for him.
