Latin star Danny Ocean releases a new version of famous single “Rubia Sol Morena Luna V2” featured along with an official music video
The song whose title is inspired by the success of “Rubia Sol Morena Luna” by the legendary band Caramelos de Cianuro a decade ago, presents a different track and interpretation from its original version, giving a unique touch while playing tribute to the famous Venezuelan group.
Danny says: “The single was born on a trip I made to Santo Domingo. I stayed for a month in the Dominican Republic and within the madness of wanting to make music, I invited Dominican producer and friend of mine, Diego Raposo, and co-producert, Juan Andrés Benítez. We had previously worked on a couple of songs before, and Diego sent me the track. I liked it and created the chorus: ‘rubia, sol, morena, luna, no confío en ninguna’. When the melody is put together, I felt very happy because I knew it would be something special”, Recalled the artist on the new version, which raises his mistrust to get involved in a relationship, but at the same time the desire to have a real love.
“It seems to me a spectacular title, apart from the fact that this song was part of my generation in Venezuela. It is a group that I feel has had an a very important mark, not only in me, but in music, particularly in Latin Rock”, he added.
Danny Ocean continues to consolidate his successful career and further demonstrate that music for him is art. In October, he released the single “Dorito & Coca-Cola”, with the collaboration of Dominican rapper Tokischa. Releases such as “Cuántas veces” alongside Justin Quiles, “Tu no me conoces” with Tini, and “Apartamento” are added to the catalog of an active 2021 with plenty of new music.
The singer, whose international hit “Me Rehúso”, is among one of his greatest achievements, is preparing to release a second album which envisions next year.
