Tell us about your latest single “Drama”, how was it working on it, and what is the story behind it?
Drama was such a fun and exciting song to work on! I worked with two amazing new upcoming producers in LA, Nathan Bankston & Conner Weinstein such great talent. I wrote the song myself, and basically I just wanted to talk about a relatable topic that we all go through when we’re in a toxic relationship. I mean, I truly give my all when I’m in a relationship whether it’s a friendship, Situationship, etc. People just like to take advantage of really good people and they don’t care how wrong they do you. So instead of making a ballad, I wanted to talk about something personal, but make it fun and something people could dance too. And BANG! Drama was born lol.
How did Corona’s year change you as a musician, and what did you learn about yourself during that time?
Corona happened? J/K lol, that was a wild time….I mean, I struggle with mental health issues so for those who feel me it was ROUGH. I still was working a 9 to 5 job which sucked balls. I didn’t really do music, as much as I wanted because I wasn’t trying to die by catching the Rona Rona….she was a bitch! Right? We hate Rona lol she sucks…that experience truly changed the world…I’m still in postpartum because of it. Plus I got really fat during that time too…depression is no joke ya’ll. But I learned I’m stronger than people give me credit for, I’ve been through a lot…but god has me.
Tell us something that your fans do not know about you?
Umm, I really have a vagina lol J/K hahaha! I mean people assume I’m a girl many times (which is interesting) but if they want to see my “anaconda” it will cost 100k per second. That’s how beautiful it is lol. But seriously, hmmmm…I self taught myself how to lyrically structure and write songs! It’s a gift I’m very proud of because songwriting isn’t easy. I’m really good at it! I say that humbly too. (Wink)

Who is the next artist you would like to collaborate with?
I’ve never collaborated with any main stream artist. I’m still very very new to the music scene. I’d love to do a song with my female singer idol BRANDY. And of course get my Nicki Minaj Feat!!!!!!! I want her to rap on her Barbie voice though lol I have a song in mind too!
Some claim that COVID has given other proportions about our lives, has the plague affected you in terms of creativity? Did you find yourself more time for writing and creating?
I’m a thinker/dreamer. Therefore I’m in my head a lot so Covid was just a weird time…I honestly was on a different planet because nothing seemed real. I think I started writing Drama during that time though? Living in a time like that, definitely does give you perspective on how short life is.
What inspired your single “Dance to the Moon” and what message do you hope that fans take from this single?
I love that song! I’m not big on EDM but I worked with a different producer on that song! It was suppose to be for this European Festival I was going to perform at, but that got canceled lol. I believe Dance to the moon was released in 2020?? Lol it such an epic dance song! I want to pitch it to like that video game “Dance Revolution” or some type of dance game! I was just listening to it before this interview haha. I’m not focused on an album honestly even though I have enough songs in my vault to create 2 albums. I just want to release quality pop songs that captures peoples attention and establishes me as a legit, mainstream male pop artist.
Can you share any upcoming plans with us?
I just booked two fashion music magazines I’ll be on the cover of! I started off as a model/dancer so to get the opportunity to dip into that is always dope. I’ll be releasing more new music in 2024! Drama came out in 2021!!!! And is barely taking off now in 2023. So it’s never our timing it’s Gods. I’ve been just working on a better version of me. I lost my grandma in 2021…I’m still not over it honestly…she passes away from cancer and literally 10 mins after I get a call saying my song “Drama” is going to be played on a very popular radio station in Florida….it was a moment my grandma and I always dreamt of…but yeah…next question. Sorry…
From all the singles you’ve released so far, which one still makes you excited every time you hear it?
THATS NOT FAIR LOL, I’ll say DRAMA, DANCE TO THE MOON, & a song called SCARECROW. Those get me….I honestly have a hard time listening to myself though.
You and many of the artists share their daily lives on social media, how important is exposure and connection to the audience for you?
It’s very important, most people want to feel their favorite artist or artists are accessible and reachable. So social media provides that reachability at times. Me as a fan, I love the fact I can go on Instagram or TikTok and see what my fav is doing and especially when they go live. It literally feels like you’re in a room with them. I’m kindof bad honestly on my social media game lol I need to get better I know SMH.

As an artists, you are influenced by other artists you value and admire, who are the artists who have influenced you over the years, and is there anyone special?
Michael Jackson I mean come on! The greatest to ever do it. But there’s a female vocalist I’m obsessed over and have been since I was 10 years old. That’s BRANDY! Anyone who really knows me knows I love her..she’s my Whitney Houston. Her vocal ability was truly crafted by God himself. She has saved me in ways I could never explain…. Honestly if I talk about her anymore, this interview would be 10 more hours. Haha. Brandy is the definition of a STAR. She is truly unmatched.
Where will we find you in 5 years? We’d love to hear some of your aspirations, dreams, and goals that you have.
In 5 years? Probably living as a male escort in Paris? Haha! I’m kidding… I honestly hoped to be signed in the next year, being invited to New York, and Paris. Fashion week is a dream… touring, and performing globally, personally meeting my fans and hugging them. Buying my mom her dream home. I just became in uncle on October 5th!! Showing my niece Aria she can become anything she puts her beautiful mind too! I just want to be a great inspiration to her and to my fans. I come from hardship and that life isn’t easy..so I dream big because it’s all I have left.
Without a doubt you are very creative, how involved are you in the whole process of creating the music videos and production of your songs?
I’m the CEO! Without me the ship isn’t built! Lol I’m just very hands on I take my career very serious. This is all I want to do in life is be a great pop star like MJ was.
