Corbyn Besson releases his solo single “Tied Up,” signaling a bold new chapter with infectious R&B-pop energy.
Corbyn Besson, widely known for his role in the global pop phenomenon Why Don’t We, takes a confident leap into solo territory with the release of “Tied Up.” The new single, out now via BMG, marks a significant turning point in Besson’s career as he enters his next era as an independent solo artist.
Produced by an elite trio — GRAMMY-winner Hit-Boy, two-time nominee Tenroc, and Latin GRAMMY recipient Trevor Muzzy — “Tied Up” blends smooth R&B textures with sharp pop hooks. Infused with playful flirtation and early-2000s-inspired rhythms, the track invites listeners to let loose and move.
“One of my biggest goals this year is to make music that makes people feel good – and this track is just the beginning. I want my fans to feel like they can turn their bedroom into a dance floor,” Besson says of the new release.
“Tied Up” is a showcase of Besson’s maturing artistry, pairing bouncing toms and synths with his increasingly confident vocal delivery. It’s a direction fully embraced by his collaborators.
“I’m excited to keep the energy going with Corbyn for his new single,” says Hit-Boy. “Shout out to Tenroc for bringing the production to life and making the whole process smooth.”
Besson recently gave fans a preview of his evolving sound during a surprise performance with Two Friends at Red Rocks, performing the unreleased “No One Else.” If “Tied Up” is any indication, Corbyn Besson’s new chapter is only just beginning.
