The new single ‘No Apologies‘ has produced by Grammy-winning producers Focus… and Dem Jointz, ‘No Apologies’ is an uptempo, funk & soul-laden dance jam with a bold lyrical twist.
Cocoa doesn’t pull any punches when telling a love interest what she wants and what she needs. “Women don’t have to be one thing – men are never asked to be ONE thing – and we’re NOT apologizing for it,” Cocoa announces boldly.
Cocoa new single follows the release of ‘Strange Fame’, a single that was created in response to police brutality suffered by Cocoa’s brother in the aftermath of the George Floyd protests. “This is not another protest song, it’s a call to action!”, says Cocoa.
