Australian-Indian pop artist Celina Sharma Drops Newest Single “Bad For You” Featuring Rich The Kid
Sharma’s seductive R&B vocals appear just at home on Positions or Sweetener, as they are side by side with internationally acclaimed Atlanta rapper Rich The Kid, who broke out with his 2018 debut record The World Is Yours and has since collaborated with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, Young Thug and more. ‘Bad For You‘ foreshadows Sharma’s impending star power, a trajectory that the teen sensation edges closer to her reach with each release.
Sharma says: “the track is about two people who want different things, one being commitment and the other knowing as much as they feel the same way, they are bad for them.” Following the recent ‘Her Wrongs‘, ‘Bad For You‘ marks the second single lifted from her forthcoming CECE EP, due this October 8. Featuring artists like Stonebwoy, Harris J, and Ivorian Doll, the record showcases Sharma’s stunning undeniable vocal range and diverse artistic breadth.
Audiences were first introduced to Celina with early singles ‘CHALO‘ and ‘Lean On‘, featuring respected Indian rapper Emiway Bantai, which has accumulated over 30 million streams globally and achieve double-platinum status with support from the BBC’s Asian Network, 1Xtra, and Radio 1. Since her crowning as the BBC’s Future Sound winner back in 2019, Celina has gone on to make her television performance debut across MTV and Nickelodeon
Celina steadies for the release of her CECE EP and upcoming feature on the Marvel Studio’s hotly-anticipated Eternals soundtrack, hitting theatres and streaming services this November 5. Across film, television, and music, Celina Sharma’s talent has already transcended international terrains.
