Global rising Latin music star Bryant Myers is back with new Sophomore Album “Bendecido“
The new album ‘Bendecido‘ from Bryant Myers features genre power players Arcangel, Nicky Jam, Farruko, El Alfa, Rauw Alejandro and Zion & Lennox, among others.
“Bendecido (Blessed) is a term that I always keep present in my life,” he says. “I’m a kid who started recording my music in a closet and that music, made without resources, led me to live my dream of singing. So I consider myself bendecido. On this album, I want my fans to know that it does not matter the economic position one is in, the important thing is to be grateful to God and work hard; whatever you set out to do, you can achieve.”
Since his mega hit “Esclava (Remix)” hit the scene, his gritty, rugged voice has dominated the Latin urban streams and airwaves. And now with Bendecido, he’s out to continue his world domination. The album begins with four bullets of pure Latin trap musical massacre with “Bendecido,” “24/7,” “Wow (Remix)” and “Relax”. And it’s only right for the man whose voice has helped define the Latin trap era.
But Bendecido isn’t only a love letter to the trap game but an album replete with all of Myers’ talents. Far from a one-trap-pony, Myers’ reggaetonero genes are on full display on his sophomore album, from romantic reggaeton like “Ojitos” featuring Rauw Alejandro and Lyanno, and soon-to-be classics like the bombastic “Indica” with legends Zion & Lennox and “Relax”. Yet, the album’s solo songs are where Myers is at his best to highlight his dexterity as a songwriter and creator. “Sé Fuerte”, the album’s first focus track, is a slow, romantic track geared towards women empowerment. The new music video directed by Alejandro Santiago Ciena will drop simultaneously with the album release.
Bryant says: “This album is complete because I have different styles of trap but I also have a couple of very hard reggaeton songs,” he says. “So I kept the essence of trap because I have an audience who is very faithful to my music, but I’m also looking to reach other audiences, and I believe that these reggaeton songs are going to allow me to reach them.”
Last week, Myers gave fans a preview of the album by releasing its second single, “RELAX”. The single talks about where Bryant Myers is now and how he manages to remain calm and relaxed when others try to bring him down. Without a doubt, the trap icon sends a powerful message to all those who have doubted him. He’s living out his dreams and demonstrates that there is no stopping him from achieving even more success.
