Panamanian star Boza links up with Lunay, Lenny Tavárez, Juhn and Beéle on a new hot remix for “Ella“
After celebrating the success of the original version, which became the second biggest hit in his career after “Hecha Pa’ Mí”, the Boza drops this epic collaboration with some of the most important names of the new urban generation, including fellow Latin GRAMMY® nominee Lunay, Lenny Tavárez, Juhn and Beéle. Released under Sony Music, the track is now available on all digital music platforms.
Composed by Boza, Lunay, Lenny Tavárez, Juhn, Beéle, among others, “Ella Remix” was recorded at Faster Studios in the city of Panama. The track was produced by the man behind the global hit “Hecha Pa’ Mí”,Faster and mixed and mastered by Luis Barrera.
“Ella Remix” arrives with an indescribable force, where each artist adds their own unique style and explosive lyrics to create the perfect combination. With the track and music video, they carry a message about the importance of seeing beyond the physical, because there is much more in a person than meets the eye.
On the inspiration to write the song, Boza expressed: “I was hearing a lot about a girl and the truth is that I was curious to meet her. When I met her, the perspective I had of her was erased, it was very different from what I expected. Obviously, you have to get to know someone first and that is what the song is about”.
Featured along with the release, the music video was filmed in Miami, FL and directed by Daniel Bethencourt. Through the video, they seek to express the wrong perception of the woman, only valuing what is observed of her on the inside not the outside. That is why life-size dolls were used as a figurative element in their respective boxes to simulate a toy, which represents how, despite their appearance, they can be someone totally different from what is expected. At the end of the video, the “dolls” break free and something unexpected happens.
The original version of the track, “Ella”, is certified Platinum in Central America and Spain, and Gold in Colombia, the United States and Peru. In addition, it debuted #1 on Spotify’s Daily Chart in Panama and entered the Top 200 in Costa Rica and Uruguay; #1 on Apple Music in Panama and #74 in Spain. On the other hand, the music video trended on YouTube at #1 in Panama and has accumulated more than 30 million views on YouTube.
Boza continues to position himself as one of the most important artists of the new urban generation. After releasing the three-song bundle, “En La Luna”, the Panamanian artist moved to conquer multiple European territories, including Spain, France and Italy. He also most recently visited Mexico City.
